Since its launch in May 2006, v, The National Young Volunteers Service, has worked with over 500 charities and community organisations to create over 900,000 youth volunteering opportunities. 

In the short time v have been recruiting, 400,000 opportunties have already been filled, helping young people to develop their skills, their CV and their confidence; but who are the young people behind the opportunties and what were their experiences really like?

To help answer this question and to ensure the quality of the volunteering opportunties v creates, we have collected an array of case studies that have come directly from the young people who have taken part.
