Investments
Since its launch in 2006, v has funded youth volunteering projects at over 500 local and national voluntary organisations in England. Over 900,000 opportunities have been commissioned through these projects, and 400,000 have already been taken up by young volunteers.
Funding has been allocated through a number of grants rounds, including:
- Grants round one, launched on the same day as v
- Grants round 1.5, which targeted disadvantaged young people
- The £75 million vinvolved national youth volunteer programme, which sought to create half a million more opportunities, and build a national infrastructure to support young volunteers
- The match fund
