About the awards

Our annual ceremony is a true celebration of young people’s outstanding contribution to their communities. 

This year's event took place at Camden Roundhouse (London) on 26 March.

The Categories

Our Awards categories reflect the incredible range of ways that young people and those that work with young people are contributing to their communities.

The 2013 National Awards categories are:

• Best young volunteer
• All round commitment to volunteering
• Recognise efforts to bring communities together
• Team activity 
• Outstanding contribution to youth volunteering by a youth worker
• Most outstanding NCS Team
