    The Summer County Cup is unique to Britain.  There are two separate Championships, one for men and the other for ladies’ and they are organised by the Lawn Tennis Association. The forty-four competing counties are organised in six groups of six and one group of eight on a league basis. The Championships are played off in one week every summer. 

     

    The Lawn Tennis Association are looking for volunteers to support the event at West Worthing.  You will required to be onsite 10.00am to 5.00pm Monday 19 to Friday 23 July inclusive, however this can be flexible. 

     

    As an event assistant you will become involved with the organisation of a major Tennis event. You will report to the Match Referee on arrival and then will be introduced to the Court Supervisor and Venue Organiser. The duties will vary according to the requirements of each venue, this may include taking team photographs, administration of scores/results,
