An exciting youth volunteering opportunity for Southwark based residents (16-25 yrs).
When we need you:
- Weekdays, Weekends, Evenings, and Flexible
We are extremely flexible to suit your own time and availability. Ideally we are looking for a regular weekly commitment either for a short, medium or long period of time. Most of our activities takes place in the evenings (6-9.30pm), except during the school holidays when in addition to our evening programme, we also run a range of daytime events and activities.

Based in Bermondsey, SE1, we are a dynamic, lively and popular youth club attracting upwards of 140 young people per weekday night. We offer a range of artistic, sporting, leisure and educational opportunities and activities ranging from a healthy cooking programme in our training kitchen; gym fitness in our modern refurbished gym; boxing, football and basketball; dance in our modern mirrored dance studio; swimming and lifeguarding in our basement full-length swimming pool; arts, drama, debate and discussion.
In addition we undertake outdoor education, trips and visits and engage in a considerable amount of fundraising to support our charitable work with young people. We are seeking a wide range of volunteers to help out in our youth club one or more nights a week; to help during our intense school holiday daytime programme; to undertake outreach and engagement in and around the local housing estates; to help on our outdoor education, trips and visits; to help coach a youth football team; to help run arts and drama activities; to help with our one-to-one and Targeted Youth Support Work; to help undertake monitoring and evaluation work and become Mystery Shoppers in our youth club.
