This summer Global Cool is taking a fresh approach to inspire people to use public transport with the second year of its ‘Do it in Public’ campaign.
Throughout July and August, Global Cool will be showing people how to make the most of “me time” whilst travelling on buses and trains, with various initiatives that show people the fun experiences that buses and trains can offer which are not possible with car travel.
The organisation, which boasts Sienna Miller, Josh Hartnett, Jo Wood, and Rick Edwards amongst its celebrity supporters, will be launching #BooksInPublic as a Twitter based book club that will encourage people to catch up on the latest releases whilst on the move, in an exclusive deal with British publisher Hodder & Stoughton.
Launching on Thursday 15th July, giving out 50,000 samples of the best-selling David Nicholls novel One Day, is Global Cool’s online book club.
