The Unit night starts at 1915 (7.15pm) to 2130 (9.30pm) on Tuesdays and Fridays, for anyone aged 12 to 18. The Junior Section (10-12 years old) is run on Fridays only. Senior cadets and adults arrive at the unit a little before these times, to prepare their classes and get their teaching aids and lesson plans ready.

Quite simply, Sea Cadets is Serious Fun.
With a wide range of fun activities, lots of weekend activities and plenty of opportunity to get involved, the Sea Cadets at Caterham is the perfect place to meet new friends and do something different! By getting involved, you will gain confidence, self-discipline and leadership skills.
Caterham Sea Cadets parades on Tuesday and Friday at the Unit Headquarters. We are open for boys and girls aged 10 to 18 years. Older cadets and adults volunteer by teaching younger cadets and acting as mentors and instructors. The Unit night starts at 1915 (7.15pm) to 2130 (9.30pm) on Tuesdays and Fridays, for anyone aged 12 to 18. The Junior Section (10-12 years old) is run on Fridays only.
We take part in a huge range of activities, including rowing, sailing, powerboating, shooting, camping, orienteering, seamanship, offshore sailing, engineering, communications, First Aid, canoeing, navigation and swimming. We also take part in the Duke of Edinburgh scheme, and young people can work towards BTECs in Public Services, and Music. We also have a unit band.
