We are pleased to announce that the final Green V Steering Group will be a weekend residential to be held 11-13 March at the Rame Conservation Trust. There is so much to see and do at this historic site that you will have a fabulous time. You will be able to take part in all sorts of activities including willow weaving, habitat box construction, and many more environmental conservation tasks as well as camping and cooking over the campfire. You will even get to speak to our very own Conservationalist and Arctic Explorer, Antony Jinman! There will be plenty of entertainment too with film showings and music including an evening with a ukele player!
If you are interested in joining us, why not try out some volunteering now. We offer opportunities across the South West. If you volunteer with us for just a few hours a week and reach the magic 50 hours completed, you will receive a vinspired award for the committment to volunteering that you have shown. This award is recognised and backed by the Government and the Recruitment and Employment Foundation among others.
Further Information: The Green V Project offers 16 - 25 year olds a chance to gain invaluable experience working alongside environmental experts carrying out conservation and Horticultural work. By attending meetings on a quarterly basis, you will be part of a lead team who will be the backbone of the Green V Project. Your team's eco friendly ideas will be used to help promote and market the Green V Project and identify new environmental volunteering opportunities whilst taking part in fun activities.
