Invigilators are needed to monitor the 2-week art show for GFEST 2010.
This includes installation, invigilation, maintenance, running tasks, gallery liaison and assistance, visitor information. Shifts will be rotated in order that everyone experiences all aspects of the fair.We would expect successful candidates to treat all tasks with equal professionalism. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who seeks to develop their career in visual arts. The positions are unpaid, but you will gain great experience and knowledge about the workings of a small art fair as well as working closely with a number of artists.
We require individuals to have a good knowledge of contemporary art or be an art graduate with initiative, good communication skills and reliability.
