GUILDFORD PLAYRANGERS- a new play service for 8 to 12 year olds from Guildford Borough Council. The Guildford Play Ranger Project recognises the importance of children being able to play outdoors freely, actively and safely.
Playrangers aim to help children be safe but also provide opportunities for taking risks and being challenged. Playrangers are there to manage risks and enable children and young people to make the most of their leisure time by supporting and challenging children in their play.
This exciting new project is a free service where qualified and experienced play workers will be working in parks and open spaces within local communities, supporting and encouraging children to play freely outdoors. Playrangers deliver from scheduled parks and open spaces across Guildford and come equipped with lots of play resources, games and ideas.
