Do you know your Primark from your Prada?
Emmaus Communities enable people to move on from homelessness, providing work and
a home in a supportive environment. The sales made in the charity shop enable this to
happen and you could play a part in making the shop a success.
The Cheltenham shop receives clothing donations but currently does not have a volunteer
who would know the treasure from the tragic! Help is needed to create the shops very own
fashion section. The shop needs help with pricing items correctly, window dressing and generally running the fashion section- a new, different and exciting opportunity here!
This would be a great shorter term project for someone with some times to spare over the
summer who can turn their passion for fashion into funds for the shop. This is an exciting
opportuntiy that would suit a creative person with a good eye for detail, fashion or anyone wanting some experience in window dressing or visual merchandising. They also need someone to help them get set up selling items on E-Bay so it would be great if you could help with this too- anyone with good knowledge of E-Bay and how to sell on this website would be great!
No previous experience needed, just a passion for fashion and some time to spare.
Training and support is provided by the shop manager. Volunteers for this opportunity
must be aged over 18.
