We are looking for volunteers to marshal and help with car-parking, refreshments and other jobs at the Farnham Pilgrims’ Marathon. This is an exciting event incorporating both a Marathon and Half-Marathon. Details about the event can be found at www.farnhampilgrim.org.uk. Volunteers will work in pairs or small groups. If you can’t do the whole day but can do part of the day – please still sign up – we would love to hear from you!
Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice, based in Farnham, Surrey, is the only adult hospice serving West Surrey and North East Hampshire. We care for seriously ill people and their families both at the Hospice and out in our local community. Our philosophy is about living, not dying, and understanding that the modern use of the word ‘hospice’ is about a specialist system of care across many professions in the community.
