Out & About includes disabled children and young people in the leisure opportunities going on in their local community.
Sports, swimming, Guides and Brownies, Cubs and Scouts, youth clubs, after school clubs, a trip to the shops, going to the cinema or bowling etc. There are loads of activities that volunteers take part in when supporting disabled children and young people.
The activity may only last a couple of hours a week but it can make a hugh difference to the child or young person and their family.
You'll need a willingness to participate in the activities, commitment to including disabled children and young people in the same opportunities as non-disabled children and young people, be flexible and willing to learn.
