Are you 18 – 25? Good with finances? Would you like to gain experience of accounting? This could be right up your street! The Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA) is looking for a volunteer to become a treasurer for their Plymouth & District, Support & Fundraising group.
The MNDA’s mission is to fund and promote research to bring about an end to Motor Neurone Disease (MND). The MNDA help to enable everyone with MND to receive the best care & achieve the highest quality of life possible. They provide support the families and carers of people with MND.
The MND Association has 92 branches and groups across England, Wales and Northern Ireland, all run entirely by volunteers who provide an invaluable local service to people affected by MND. Within the branches and groups, volunteers work together in many different ways to provide support, raise awareness, influence, and fundraise on behalf of people living with MND.
The Plymouth Branch requires a volunteer treasurer to help mainatin accurate accounting records, prepare financial reports, ensure funds are banked properly, prepare accounts & act as a signatory. Full training & support provided with the chance to work towards national volunteering certificates.
Must have some financial experience. Must be willing to make a regular commitment. Must be willing to have a CRB check.
