  • More info

The Children’s Trust is a national charity working with children who have multiple disabilities and complex health needs. They are based at a 24 acre site in Tadworth, Surrey but offer our services to children from across the UK.

They would love to have your help at their Sleepwalk event on Saturday 25th September. The 10mile walk will take participants through Reigate and the surrounding areas. The event will help raise funds for children with multiple disabilities for whom a good night’s sleep is a rare luxury. The walk will start at the Pavilion in Priory Park, Reigate Surrey at 10pm on Saturday 25th September.

We have a variety of volunteering opportunities available throughout the evening from 6pm – 4am on Saturday 25th September. If you can spare just a few hours at some point during these times, it would be much appreciated. Why not get some friends to come along with you?!

It would be great to have your support to be able to transform the start area ready to welcome walkers. They will need a sign in desk, t-shirt collection pint, drop off point for sponsorship and charity shop bags, relaxation area, refreshment area, warm up area and information point about the night.

Marshal: Duties will include marshalling and guiding participants at various points along the 10 mile route. This is an important role, as you will be able to guide, cheer and encourage participants as they pass! We will aim for all marshals to work in pairs.

Finish Line Crew: Take all the glory at the end of the race and celebrate with the weary participants! Duties will include welcoming participants at the finish, handing out medals/goody bags and helping to clear up after the event.

Set Up Crew: Duties will include help setting up the start and registration area in Priory Park, welcoming participants, giving out t-shirts, waving walkers off and setting up the finish area.

Refreshments and travel expenses are provided.
