Are you 16 -25? Would you like to gain experience in environmental conservation and get involved in practical projects? This could be for you!
South West Lakes Trust (SWLT) is the region's largest combined environmental and recreational charity. Its 50 inland water sites, spread across Devon, Cornwall and West Somerset, attract in the region of 2m visits annually. It is listed as being in the top 3,000 of the country's 150,000 charities.
The SWLT team at Burrator Reservoir is looking for a full time conservation volunteer. You will undertake various roles including practical habitat management, archaeological restoration and species monitoring. For this opportunity you will volunteer on a full time basis, helping out 4 or 5 days a week.
If you think this opportunity could be for you then get in touch. Full training and support is offered from SWLT and the BTCV vinvolved team. Also, there is the opportunity to count your volunteering hours to work towards national volunteering certificates. -
