The preparation days are from Sunday 5th Sept - Saturday 11th September. The actual Countryside Day is on Sunday 12th September. Each day starts at 10m, but you cna come along at whatever time you are available.

Banstead Woods Countryside Day Preparations, 5-11 Sept, Banstead
You'll be helping to prepare for an annual countryside day and a great community event. Lots to do from thatching a hut to vegetation clearance, sign making to building a Gazebo. Something for everyone! Tasks start at 10am.
You can then help out at the actual event on Sunday 12 September.
Make this a fantastic day for the whole community. Help sell programmes, run stalls/events including the nature trail, tractor rides, pole lathe, the OSD trailer and Downlands project stand. Also help with odd jobs such as digging trenches & looking after the animals. Help needed from 8am onwards, but you can come along for a few hours. -
