We require Stewards to help ensure the smooth running of Wanstead’s finest festival on Sunday 19th September 2010.

Wanstead Festival takes place on Sunday 19th September, 11-5pm on Christchurch Green Recreation Ground. There will be something for everyone including lots of free entertainment featuring:
* Music from Brass, Afro Caribbean and Acoustic bands, playing Jazz, Blues and Rock
* Over 40 exhibitors
* Children's arts and craft workshops
* Face painting and storytelling
* Seed planting and barbeque
* Climbing wall and music recitals
* Volleyball tournament and body MOTs
Demostrations and sports workshops.
* Community and Council exhibits.
We require Stewards to help ensure the smooth running of the festival. Duties on the day include:
• Helping to manage different areas during the day
• Signposting – letting the general public know about the event and directing them where to go
• Escorting the guests as well as helping the general public in case of general queries made by the public on the ground
• Assisting the Events Manager with tasks during the festival
• Helping with set up at the start of the day and dismantling at the end of the festival
