If you are interested in helping and supporting young people with a learning disability then read on! Signposts in Morecambe require 4 volunteers to help young people (0 - 17 years) to access leisure activities of their choice. Duties may include:
o Helping young people to access leisure activities of their choice
o Supporting young people to develop their independence
o Enabling young people to socialise with their peers
o Encourage young people to work in clubs/groups
o Ensure young people have fun
o Enabling young people to use their skills & abilities to get the most out of their leisure time
o Encouraging participation
Providing friendship and support to young people
If you are interested in helping and supporting young people with a learning disability then read on! Reliable, friendly, good communicator, good organisational skills and good listening skills.
