The first ever Monster Mile is taking place at Chester Racecourse in aid of Youth Federation on Sunday 31st October 3pm-5:30pm. The childrens event includes a 1 mile sponsored fancy dress walk around Chester Racecourse, fancy dress competition, ghost stories read by a professional storyteller, goody bag, hot dog, cold drink and other spooky activities. In order for the event to run efficiently and successfully I am looking for volunteers who are willing to come along on the day to help out. I will need help with marshalling the 1 mile walk, registration, stalls, face painting, goody bags etc. Volunteers are encouraged to dress up in Halloween costume.
This activity is being run as part of Make a Difference Day, the UK's biggest day of volunteering.
