Teenage Cancer Trust has been given the amazing opportunity to fundraise at Argos stores all across the country, though bucket collections and other activities over the next two years (until July 2012). This is an incredible chance for us to raise lots of money to help teenagers and young people fight cancer.
This autumn, lots of Argos stores are joining forces with XBOX 360 and are offering exclusive demos of Kinect - the new way to play with your XBOX 360! In store try out Kinect; where YOU are the controller. Have fun, play games and interact without the need for controllers, keypads and headsets and generate awareness for Teenage Cancer Trust as you do so.
We need you to sign up to fundraise at your local store (Portsmouth) as a Collection Volunteer (16th/ 17th October). You don't need any experience; just a willingness to help! The busiest times for collecting donations will be from midday onwards and you'll also have plenty of time to have a go at Kinect for yourself. You can volunteer with your friends (who will all need to sign up as well) or as an individual. Also, each person that donates is entered into a prize draw to WIN a Kinect!You can sign up for as much time as you have to spare so that we can have a presence at each demo day, encourage new supporters and volunteers to sign up, and receive any cash donations from the public through bucket collections.
