The need for volunteers
The Club was formed in 1995 but has grown impressively since 2008. They currently 4 Mens teams, 4 Childrens teams and a womens teams. This growth has ment that they are slightly over capacity and being a volunteer based club many of the people involved also have full time jobs limiting there capabilities to investing as much times as they'd like the development and growth of the club. So they need to grow the capacity in forms of managering, coaching and marketing personal.
The role - Assistant Coach for U10s/U12s/U15s teams.
The role will be to:
-Assist the head coach with preparation of coaching & fitness sessions to develop the players.
- Assist the head coach with the delivery of the coaching sessions.
- Coach/ referee teams at festivals.
-Maintain standards of conduct & safety
As a requirement all volunteers will be RFU CRB checked. (provided by the club)
Skills/ Qualities required by volunteers:
-Enthusiastic and knowledgeable about rugby ( preferably RFU qualified).
- At a reasonable level of fitness.
-Be able to encourage and motivate a group of young people.
- Have a passion for helping and working with young people and sports.
