The mutli million pound auditorium is home to a professinal recording studio offering world class equipment in a superb acoustic environment, plus contemporary dance rehearsal rooms and a relaxed cafe/ bistro serving delicious food sourced from top-quality local suppliers. The venue provides a range of classes, activities and shows to the local community and from further afield.
The Grand is open six days a week and can offer a variety of volunteering opportunities including; helping out with the skate park, cyber cafe, events management, youth projects, health related projects, school events, reception duties, marketing and promotions, administration and technical duties.
Hours are flexible and the Grand can offer part time and full time opportunities.
Training is also provided in the relevant area and all volunteers are invited to a quarterly meeting. You will also be provided with a uniform and name tag and can also benefit from a discount scheme which is in use in the cafe.
