You'll also gain experience in retail, catering and customer service, while meeting some great people!
You can help behind the servery counter, join the cooking team or meet and greet visitors. Some of the customers are elderly and lonely and so they come in for a chat. You can really help to lighten up their day. A great role for people interested in social care.
Morning refreshments are served 10am-12pm and lunches are served from 12.15-2pm. You'll need basic money handling skills and good customer service skills for this opportunity. The volunteers and staff have a good laugh and work together as part of a friendly team.
All-in-all, this is a really nice volunteering opportunity.
