Are you 16-25? Love the beach & want to give something back? Every year more & more litter washes up on our beaches & kills some of our favourite marine animals as they accidentally eat it or become tangled up. The Blue Sound project are running several beach clean events on 28th October at Batten Bay, & 29th October at Devil’s Point Beach, from 12pm-4pm. Come & do your bit! Equipment and support provided, and have the opportunity to work towards a national volunteering certificate. The Blue Sound project run by the Marine Biological Association has been doing all kinds of fun and adventurous marine activities giving city residents the chance to discover, explore, learn & conserve your local marine environment.
