Those of you interested in First Aid and Peer Education with The British Red Cross, this is a great opportunity. Help in local Primary Schools on Wednesday Afternoons teaching children first aid and hazards at home skills is the first opportunity. The second opportunity is a 3 year qualification in Emergency Life Support but you will be expected to use this at at least one roadshow over the next 12 months. We would also like any trained first aiders to come along for the training day to help out and train the new volunteers please. Emergency Life Support now FULL (19th Oct) however I will take names of 2 reserves in case a couple of spaces are freed up -
