Volunteers would help out with a variety of tasks at the scrap store, and may take responsibility for specific areas or jobs that need doing.
Tasks include:
Tidying up
Displaying goods
Packing and unpacking donations
Getting boxes down (3m ladder)
Light lifting
Helping to unload the van
Serving members at the counter - including taking money
Rolling paper
Folding fabric
Sorting donations
Targeting prospective members and suppliers
Chasing organisations who haven’t visited in a while
Reminding organisations to renew their membership -
