Fancy having a go at film-making? Here’s your chance!
What’s the project about and why should YOU get involved?!
If you’re aged 16-25 years old, we’re offering you an amazing opportunity to work with us to make your own short films for a young people’s guide to Lincolnshire’s museums.
If you’re interested in making films and having a lot of fun along the way you need to read on … As well as having a go at something new and learning new skills, you’ll get the chance to visit some brilliant museums and see some weird and wonderful things! You may even discover a hidden passion or talent for film-making or at the very least be a part of something special… and the experience will look good on your CV.
Our challenge to YOU!!!
Some people think museums are dull. WRONG!!! Your challenge is to create films that show other young people that this simply isn’t true. We’ll work with you to help you develop creative ideas and provide equipment to turn those ideas into actual films for YouTube.
The project will take place at your local museum where you’ll join in two workshops:
Workshop session 1 (tour of site and ideas planning):
Weds 24th Nov, 5-7pm - Caistor Arts and Heritage Centre, Caistor
Workshop session 2 (filming):
Sat Jan 22nd, 11-4pm - Caistor Arts and Heritage Centre, Caistor
Other sessions coming up at Lincoln, Digby, Woodhall Spa, East Kirkby, Skegness and Louth
Refreshments available and transport provided for each workshop session
Please ensure you are available for both workshops
