We are looking for a lively enthusiastic volunteer to assist with promoting the Wallington Farmers’ Market. Wallington Farmers’ Market is a community based initiative, which seeks to promote quality affordable local food in the local area. This volunteer role will suit anyone interested in local food production, marketing and promotions and is an early riser. It will involve both office based work at the EcoLocal Offices and work at the Market itself.
Office based tasks include:
Development of competitions and promotional events
Creating promotional signs and other competition materials
Organising resources for competitions etc as appropriate
Collecting and organising information resources
Market Based tasks include:
Running competitions and other promotional events
Handing out information and promotional materials
Liaising with stallholders and interacting with the general public
