Volunteers are required to volunteer their help in the Witness Service at Fleetwood Magistrates court.
Initial core training would be given to equip the volunteer on how the organisation works and how to deal with witnesses, their family and friends as they attend court either as a defence or prosecution witness.
As your experience grows as a volunteer you would have an opportunity to do further training to assist victims and witnesses of crimes of a more serious nature such as rape and sexual assault, victims of domestic abuse, homicide and hate crime.
