We are looking for fun loving, energetic, creative thinkers to work together as a team to provide fun, adventure and new challenges for the young people who attend our Explorer Scout Unit.
Explorers are young people aged 14 - 18 years who like to get involved in as many adventurous activities as they can. One week they could be camping, the next go karting and then off geocaching, but it's not all about the outdoors. We are looking for people who are keen to help young people develop their own skills whether its survival, cooking, map reading, debating, or learning about new places or cultures.
If you think you've got what it takes to help young people develop and the skills or interest you can share. Then this could be the role for you.
You need to be able to commit to 1 night a week (Mondays) and occasional weekends to take part in trips, camps and expeditions.
In return we can offer full training, a great deal of fun and opportunities to enhance your CV. No previous experience in Scouting is required, but you will need to undertake an enhanced CRB check and references
