Right To Play is the world’s leading sport for development charity, working to improve the lives of children in some of the most disadvantaged areas of the world by using the power of sport and play for education, health and peace. Right To Play has a team of over a hundred current Student Ambassadors at 50 universities around the country; we would love for you to join our team.

Right To Play is the official charity of British Universities & College Sport and over the last 2 years has raised enough money to fund 20,000 children in Right To Play programmes. This has been due to the support of thousands of student volunteers, and hundreds of Student Ambassadors. We want to reach even more children this year, and to do that we need your help.

The Student Ambassador programme gives you a chance to represent and promote an international NGO at your university; joining our international team of staff, Athlete Ambassadors and children who benefit from our programmes. We have an ever-growing, fun, dedicated, passionate and innovative team of students that are keen to do more with their time; you can join us in changing lives.

Student Ambassadors raise awareness and money for Right To Play by running events, linking with sports clubs and societies and supporting our national events and campaigns. Right To Play has strong partnerships in the sporting world but the concept of Play is one that we utilise in all of our work in the field and fundraising. Therefore you do not have to be sporty or even experienced in fundraising you just need to have a desire to make a difference to lives – the children our projects work with, and your own. We at Right To Play will help wherever possible and you will join our Student Ambassador team which is spread across a number of universities.

Over the last two years the Student Ambassador programme has developed into one of the largest charity presences in the University sector. Ambassadors have organised sports tournaments, development seminars, street collections, fun runs and broken world records by working in a team, as an individual or by integrating Right To play in their sports club, society or RAG.
