Our READ teams collect disused textbooks from local schools. The relevant books are sent to schools in East Africa where they improve the daily education of thousands of school children. How can you help?? We need volunteers over 21 to drive our book collection vans. You'll be provided with everything you need for the day and will be accompanied by a READ volunteer. Its a great chance to get involved in sthe ground work of a national charity, see a bit more of your local area and help us towards our goal of shipping over 300,000 textbooks to Tanzania and Uganda next summer! Time commitment: just one day of driving, the date of which we can arrange to suit you. If you'd like to find out more - get in touch!
