This is an exciting opportunity to intern for an award-winning, dynamic, student-led charity and have a real hand in supporting the education of thousands of East African schoolchildren.
This is a 4 month internship from February to end of May 2011.
You will work directly with the Head of UK Operations and two other interns to manage our book collection and consolidation logistics across the UK. You will also have the opportunity to get involved with the international shipping logistics – a unique opportunity to gain an understanding of the global trade and transport network.
The role is one of real responsibility focusing on logistics at a managerial level. You will be working from the London office but most often you will be out and about visiting your various UK University projects where you will provide support, advice and hands on help.
