Watford CVS (Centre for Voluntary Services) provides all sorts of support & advice to local charities & not-for-profit organisations, from neighbourhood parent & toddler groups to hospices & large homelessness charities. They offer training, funding information & advice, help with employment issues, volunteering expertise - in fact just about anything a local charity or small group could need can be found at the CVS.
Bob, the Chief Executive Officer, is in need of help with his workload - he's out & about a lot at external meetings & could do with someone who would manage his diary & appointments, deal with correspondence on his behalf & generally assist in a wide range of secretarial & administrative tasks such as producing reports, filing, maintaining office systems & so on. If you have the knowledge & skills to fill this role, this is an opportunity to gain the experience necessary for a future career in an interesting & friendly setting.
