More info
We’re celebrating the 60th anniversary of the 1951 Festival of Britain with Mastercard across the site from Friday 22nd April until Sunday4th September. The Festival celebrations will be an exciting mix of contemporary British cultural talent, reflecting the history of Britain and the site, which began in 1951 when the Royal Festival Hall was built as part of the South Bank Exhibition, the centre piece of the
Festival of Britain.
We’re looking for Volunteer Welcomers who can help make a day out at the celebrations even more special, unique, exciting and memorable. You’ll be talking to visitors about what’s on, giving information, showing people around and encouraging visitors to take part, sometimes doing so yourself. You’ll work as part of a team largely based outside.
If you have great face-to-face and verbal communications skills, enjoy being in a busy, creative, outdoors environment and would like to volunteer at Southbank Centre, call us on 0207 921 0977 for the
details or visit www.southbankcentre.co.uk/volunteer to complete the form, returning it to as soon as possible. If you’d like to also volunteer as a Team Leader, please let us know.
Southbank Centre is striving to promote equality and diversity. -
