Our centre for homeless young people provides hot meals twice a day for those who can't afford to buy food, as well as a warm place to relax & talk to others. The service is entirely run by volunteers, from the trustees to the cooks in the kitchen. We are in need of an organised person to co-ordinate all the volunteers now, & sort out the rotas so that we don't get confused! If you have a methodical mind & you like lists, & planning & so on, perhaps you are the very person we are looking for! As well as co-ordinating the volunteers rota, it would be great if you could do a shift or two in the Centre yourself, & of course one thing leads to another so if fundraising is something you might enjoy we can always do with more money... this could be a full-time (30 hours a week) role or it could be just a few hours, depending on how much time you can commit.
