Activenture facilitate residential programmes for disabled/special needs young people at Woodrow High House (near Amersham, Bucks) and Hindleap Warren (Wych Cross, East Sussex) generally during school holidays. These operate from Sunday to Saturday most weeks. We train volunteers to attend our programmes as Helpers (13-18). Typical activities for all those attending (these will vary for each programme/location) include: archery, canoeing, abseiling, obstacle courses, swimming, craft, days out, live bands, karaoke & disco. Volunteers will be expected to assist with the personal care of the disabled/special needs young people.
