This opportuntiy is very varied and we are not going to fib to you, it will not always be exciting and can be a bit mundane. All of that said, we feel it is worthwhile, you will have a chance to work with other volunteers, we have no paid staff, who are all committed to the Centre and what we are trying to achieve.
It may involve setting up for youth work or other groups, some basic cleaning and tidying tasks, putting stuff into and out of storage, engaging with other volunteers, preparing for functions.
There may be other free training opportuntities available to you, such as First Aid or Food Hygiene training etc.
We like to think that we are farily easy to get on with and sometimes it may even be fun amongst the mild chaos.
Not much construction but lots of practical.
