Volunteering with us is fun, exciting, varied and gives you great opportunities to learn new skills and build on existing qualities.
The Young Carers and Young Adult Carers services offer support to young carers aged 8-25yrs. We offer regular youth clubs, trips, residential weekends and 1:1 support.
At the youth clubs volunteers help core staff to run a variety of activities including sports, arts&crafts, baking and even graffiti art. These take place one evening a week for 2 hours.
Volunteers in our service also help out by coming along on trips and residential weekends, which mainly take place during school holidays, but also on occasional evenings and weekends. In the past we have been paintballing, go karting, to the cinema, rock climbing, horse trekking and to theme parks.
Residential weekends normally last 2 nights and have included trips to PGL activity centres and Centre Parcs. All expenses are paid for volunteers.
PLEASE NOTE: At the moment we just require volunteers who are able to drive and happy to transport young people in their own cars.
