v's Youth Advisory Board meets 3 times a year for weekend residentials, and 8 times a year for day long meetings. These take place either on Mondays, Fridays or Saturdays. In between meetings YAB members are expected to put in 10 hours a month of volunteering with v, either face-2-face or online.

vInspired is committed to involving young people at the heart of our work. Since our launch in 2006, vInspired has recruited and supported a Youth Advisory Board annually to work with staff on a range of exciting projects and activities. So far, we’ve involved over 100 young people in advising and guiding our work. We’re searching again for some volunteering stars to join our Youth Advisory Board 2012-13.

Hi Imhendry, This opportunity is a part time volunteering opp. There are set meetings which the YAB commit too, but also work alongside v staff and trustees in between YAB meetings.
