Derian House relies heavily upon the amazing donations and fundraising activities taking place across Lancashire and beyond. Perhaps you and your friends would like to organise a fundraising event to benefit the hospice, or may be you would like to volunteer to help at our planned events throughout the year? For example, we have our Starlight Stroll in May and the annual Gala in June – these are always popular events that demand the support of volunteers to ensure they go without a hitch! You may also like to get involved with our thriving Appeals Office – at times, this can be very hectic as many tasks are run to tight deadlines, and voluntary help is even more valuable! You would of course be trained and supported in any job undertaken.
