The North West’s newest boutique festival arrives on 16-18 September 2011 in the bohemian enclave of Ramsbottom, nestled in the West Pennine Moors just 12 miles from Manchester city centre.

Bringing some of the most exciting musicians together to a stunning riverside location, the festival's confirmed acts to date include, Scottish rock legends The Waterboys, Mercury nominees Guillemots, indie rock quintet Cherry Ghost and Manchester’s own Badly Drawn Boy.

The festival aims to create a warm, welcoming and inclusive environment for people of all ages to come together for a cornucopia of musical and artistic delights, real ales, and the finest in locally produced food.

The Festival is a partnership between 3 local, independent and creative organisations, Bury’s live arts venue, The Met, Don’t Panic Event Management and Ramsbottomonline.com.

We need an army of volunteers to help with all sorts of rewarding jobs at this year's festival, including stewarding at the event and at transport sites around Bury, litter picking, merchandise sales, working in the ticket office and promotion work ahead of the event.

Volunteers are unpaid but each will receive a free festival one-day pass in return for a minimum of twelve hours work (subject to terms and conditions). To register your interest please go to www.ramsbottomfestival.com
