Press & Comms Officer
This is a very important position. DWED needs someone to handle increasing media attention. It is one of our main aims to shelter our members from those who are only interested in exploiting our members for their own financial gain and a few cheap sound bites. We understand that the media is necessary if we are to raise awareness but we don’t want to glamorise ED’s or cheapen the message. What we are looking for is a strong character, with experience of representing/ advocating the vulnerable. Experience dealing with the media is essential.
