Invicta Valiants run fun and competitive football activities for children and young adults who have special educational needs and disabilities. We can offer volunteers who do not have any football qualifications and opportunity to take the FA coaching courses, provided the volunteer can commit to attending training sessions on a regular basis. Any volunteers wishing to offer their services at Invicta Valiants must be able to travel to training sessions independantly, so ideally would need to live in the Ashford area. You do not need to be a qualified football coach, just have an interest in helping players get involved and enjoy their football activities. The role of a football coach training children and young adults with special educational needs and disabilities is very rewarding and gives these players opportunities to play regularly with their team at training, matches and tournaments.
