We consider the work undertaken by volunteers to be extremely valuable in the maintenance and improvement of the habitat for wildlife and hope that young people enjoy the chance to be part of such an important team.

You will be undertaking tasks such as coppicing, hedge laying, tree planting, wildlife recording and wildlife monitoring and other practical tasks on the reserve.

The sessions run from 9am until 1pm on the first Sunday of the month between October and April.

Due to the popularity of these sessions we have limited the number of places available  to fifteen. This is to ensure we know exactly how many people will be attending each session and therefore will allow us to plan the work programme accordingly. You will be asked to complete an application form if you are interested in joining in.

Please contact becky (becky@rutlandwater.org.uk) for more details.
