I'm a Team v Leader in Islington, and over the past 5 weeks, I've been planing a campaign to help combat loneliness and isolation among elder people in Islington. After weeks of planning we have an event in sight!
Working in partnership with Age UK and Arsenal, we are going to be holding a Wii tournament for elderly men in the local area at Arsenal Football Club. To do this we need volunteers to help - Photographers, Promotors/PR, Wii tutors/people to man the Wii's, General helpers, People to take part in the 'reminiscing corner' talking with people about the good old days - hopefully we have the assistance of Arsenal's oral historian to facilitate this which will make it alot more interesting!
If you feel you have got a special talent and you want to contribute, the more people involved in this event, the better it will be!
