offthewall:elements is a site responsive artistic showcase encompassing the theme of the 4 classical elements, air, earth, fire and water. Exhibiting artists work that is inspired by nature and the elements, to create a one off event.
We believe that “great art picks up where nature ends”. Using a combination of visual art and performance in an outdoor setting to create a stimulating viewing experience. offthewall:elements will enhance the beauty of the natural environment through artistic excellence.
We request you help in the form of volunteering at offthewall:elements, there are four main areas that you will be assisting us on:
- Guarding artwork- it is important that all the artwork that is exhibited at offthewall:elements is observed by a volunteer at all times, this is for the safety of the work, and the general public, we will also provide you with information about the artist and their work so you can freely discuss the artwork with guests at ease.
- Set up- we may require your help in the set up of artwork and decorations, the more hands the quicker its will get done.
- Artist liaison- offthewall:elements will have performers, it is vital that some one is with them/ within close reach to help them with anything they may possibly need, either during a break or whilst performing. We will also provide you with information about the artist and their performance.

Compton Acres is close to Sandbanks, which is signposted from the A338 and A35. Follow the brown and white tourist signs.
Bus travel is considerably more efficient and environmentally friendly than travelling by private car. If you choose to get the bus Bournemouth and Poole have 2 main bus services, Yellow Buses and Wilts & Dorset. Wilts and Dorset bus numbers 50 from Bournemouth and Swanage and 52 from Poole.
