Calling all 16-25 year olds in Greenwich, Lewisham and Bexley!
Want to feel part of a team that makes a positive difference to your community? Want to meet new and interesting people? Need to boost your C.V? Then why not come and be part of our Youth Action Team (YAT). The South East London YAT team are a group of friendly young people aged 16-25 who are meeting weekly to identify how they can work together and with local organisations to tackle real issues affecting their community.
As part of the YAT team you'll be involved in every aspect of the production of a monthly e-newsletter. If you are interested in a career in journalism, artwork and design, photography, illustration, creative writing, admin, content management, multimedia production or recruitment then this project is for you.
You will also act as an ambassador when invited to attend celebration events, award ceremonies and launches, and representing young people in your area and using your creative and exciting ideas to get young people involved in volunteering and improving their local community.What we require from you? To attend meetings regularly, bring creative and dynamic ideas to the table and lots of enthusiasm and dedication!! This is a chance for you to lead a project with other young people.
