BUSH HILL PARK ( NATURE RESERVE REGENERATION)
Come and make a difference to your environment!
Project
Friends of Bush Hill Park are working on the regeneration of a nature reserve located in Bush Hill Park and are seeking a group of volunteers to help them out with the early stage of the project which involves landscaping. The project will involve creating a rockery area and doing some planting.
This is an innovative and practical way to get physically active, and make a difference to your local environment. The Friends of Bush Hill are inviting you to explore the landmark location, discover a hidden green space, improve your health and stamina, learn new skills and meet volunteers with similar interests, all over a hot drink brewed outdoors!
Tasks
The project will involve moving rocks from within the reserve to an allocated area so as to form a rockery within the reserve and to plant selected plants in designated areas within the reserve.
If you enjoy getting active outdoors, or are interested in the environment and enjoy having nice green spaces or maybe you are taking on an environmental course or have an interest in a career in the environmental area then why not get involved in this fun project.
Contact the vinvolved North London team to register your interest to take part in this project.
